To commemorate the people who have strongly contributed to the Company’s growth,
the Generali Group has set up scholarships to support the training of brilliant
and meritorious students.
Enzo Grilli scholarships
In honour of Professor Enzo Grilli, an economist and member of Generali Board
of Directors, the Company collaborates withJohns Hopkins University (Bologna
Center
) to provide scholarships for brilliant economists to attend a two-year master
course in
Italy
and in the
US
.At the end of the course students will obtain a Master of Arts degree in International
Relations.
Mario Gasbarri scholarships
The Gasbarri Foundation was set up in memory of Cavaliere del Lavoro (Knight of Work) Mario Gasbarri (1898 - 1983), who led Alleanza - one of Generali
Group companies - first as a General Director and then as a Chairman.
The Foundation has set up scholarships and endowed graduation prizes for young scholars and students graduating in Economics, Law, Mathematics, Statistics,
Political Sciences, Sociology, etc. writing significant dissertations on insurance
topics.
Generali Group scholarships
Generali Group sponsors 5 three-year scholarships of 1.000 Euro per year to be assigned to secondary schools graduate students willing to enrole the University Course in Business, Finance and Insurance Statistics
and Information Technology held by the Faculty of Economics, University of Triest.
